Planning in the Pub (PITP) uses the lure of drinks and chips to take the planning conversation out of the town hall and consultancy office, and into the comfort of a pub.
This regular meet up is open to anyone practicing or with an interest in planning and cities, including planners and non-planners alike. The format is simple: come along, meet others in and around the profession, share experiences and have fun.
The purpose is massive: 1) we want to restore some positivity, care and love for planning and planners; and 2) we want to explore what kind of planning narrative, vision and leadership planners want to see to create the kind of urban we now need. (The drinks and chips bit is also important......!)
Our spiritual home is the Cittie of Yorke Pub, Chancery Lane, Holborn and we will be popping up around the UK too.
